With the ongoing academic spatial turn, research about the spatiality of digital games has become more prominent in the last years (Schrape 2019: 245). Ludotopia offers a collection of different works and viewpoints on the spatiality of digital games, and its approach is to explore the ‘dialectic entanglement’ (Günzel 2019: 8) of games and space.
